Seven of the top twenty fasted growing jobs are all in the health care field. Now before you get too excited, Acupuncturist is not among the fasted growing health care jobs. But the fact that the health care industry itself is growing, even in a down economy, means acupuncturists can benefit. Here’s why:

As acupuncturists, we can take advantage of the demand for Physician Assistants, Medical Assistants, Physical Therapists, etc., by developing relationships and referral networks with them. Until “Acupuncturists” get their very own spot on “The 30 Fastest Growing Occupations” report, we can continue to carve out our unique niche interfacing with the mainstream health care demands.

Look, we have a new president who is trying to accomplish some pretty difficult tasks, so I figure I can work a little harder to get the information that is current, relevant, and helpful out to you and other acupuncturists.
